ARP 2600

Hi.

Since I have absolutely nothing to type about, I'm just going to put another question/survey on.

YEAH!

I'm sure you're all thrilled to have another question/survey on here, so here you go.

Who knows what an ARP 2600 is?

Now I'm sure that some of you are staring at that jumble of letters and numbers that spell out ARP 2600, but I assure you that it is a real thing. If you are going to answer this question, please answer without using the search engine on the computer, or consulting someone that has used the search engine on the computer. That wouldn't be any fun.

Alex :)

P.S. The ARP 2600 was used to make the noises of R2-D2 from Star Wars.

  1. My guess is that an ARP 1600 was some sort of device (a computer program, most likely) to make sound effects. Please tell me if that is the correct answer.

  2. Your mom's right, it's a vintage analog synthesizer.
