Hi!

I just made this song on FL studio! I figured out how to save it as an audio file instead of just a file. But Blogger wouldn't let me put just audio on so I had to make a movie of it. In this case, it's just a picture of Shep sleeping, so it doesn't really match the music, but oh well. I couldn't quite match up the kick drum and the clap with the rest of the music, but it still sounds pretty good.

Ultimate Snowball Fight

HEEEEELOOOOOOOOOO!!! Today we had the most amazing snowball fight ever at coner's house!! Will, Caleb, Noah(who 'm going to get back at), and Patrick built me and the girls:( a fort!! Then they attacked their creation. At first we sucked, but then it got worse!!! They got sheilds!!! How unfair is that?! Anyway, but we fought back, then me, Kireste, Avery, and Sophie had to leave. I wonder how their doing? Bet they were crushed and overrun because I(who was commander)left.:( I was doing good at directing them to victory. Softain - noun - The act of jumping into something that looks soft (hay, snow, grass, etc.) only to discover that it hurts substantially.

Wetlin - noun - That little bit of water that's on the windshield when it's raining but will never get wiped off by the windshield wipers.

Color Facts

Here are some interesting facts about colors if you want to decorate your room:

Red: A completely red room wouldn't be restful, but touches of red are great for boosting creative energy.
Yellow: Yellow is light and bright-great for putting you in a good mood. It goes well shades of blue.
Green: Green is cool and refreshing. It's also lucky. Try adding a green plant to your room.
Blue: Blue will help you relax and stay calm. However, too much blue may start you daydreaming!
Purple: Go for purple if you want to increase your confidence and creativity.
Pink: Pink is relaxing. Great for chilling out and a good night's sleep.

Hi everyone!
I have this book I got for Christmas called, "Unjournaling". It's basically a book with these fun writing exercises that are challenging and make you write creatively.
Here is a writing exercise:
What would "Blue" taste like if you could chew it?
Here is my answer:

Blue would taste delicious. It would be as fluffy as cotton candy, but not sticky, and it would taste like a mix of berries, a fruit slushy, and sunshine.

Here's another one:
Write a paragraph about winter by starting every sentence with the letter "W".
Here's my paragraph:

Winter is wonderful! Wonderful is winter! Wait, does that even make sense? Well, I love winter! Winter is a time for sledding, making snowmen, and snowball fights! Whoa, I almost forgot about drinking hot cocoa. Why, I just LOVE hot cocoa! Wheels of cars get stuck in the snow though, and that's not good. Well, I still love winter!

Another Question

Alex's post made me think about this question.
If you put Harry, Ron, and Hermione into an arena (now I know that they would never fight each other, ok, Hermione might fight Ron if he was really on her nerves, but, in general, they wouldn't fight) who would win? I think Hermione would, because, she's super smart and could easily figure out a strategy. Now Ron's good at magic, but not as good as Harry or Hermione, so, Hermione would probably get Ron first and then Harry.

Another Question

Hi.

I just noticed that there are more than 200 posts on the blog, so why not put some more on?
Today I got this whole Owl City album off of iTunes and there's this hilarious song about hair. It's only a minute and a half long, but is undoubtedly one of the best songs I've ever heard. It's called "Rugs from Me to You".

I have another question. If you put Frodo Baggins, Anakin Skywalker, and Harry Potter in an arena together, who would win the fight? Anakin has a lightsaber and the Force, so that's a clear advantage. Even if Harry was under his Invisibility Cloak, Anakin could sense him with the Force. Frodo on the other hand would have the One Ring and since the Force can't see into the Dark Side, Frodo would be safe from that(the One Ring is really evil and can turn whomever put's it on invisible.) Then there's the matter of can a lightsber block magic, and can magic block a lightsaber? Type your answer as to who you think would win.

Excerpt from "The Snobs"

I haven't finished the book, but here's a little part from the story. This is from Angela's point of view. Angela is the main character. Joyce and her "Fellow Snobs" are the three bullies.

I walked in and settled down at my desk. Mrs. Ager hadn’t arrived yet, (she was probably in the bathroom), but Joyce and her fellow snobs were there.

“Hey,” Joyce said, smiling. There was no teacher in the room, and no one else was there to witness anything. She was probably planning something.

“Hi,” I mumbled.

“I absolutely LOVE your shirt!” said Joyce.

“You said that on the bus.”

“I know. I just said it again though. That’s a compliment.” She kept giving her oh-so-splenda sweet smile.

“Right,” I said cautiously. “Thanks, I think.”

I stared at the blackboard.

“I also like your hair,” she continued. She touched a finger to her lips, as if in deep consideration. “Such a pretty color.”

“Um, thanks.”

“But it would look so much better if it was short.”

“No, thanks. I like it like this.”

“Oh no,” she said. Where was this going? “I insist.”

Suddenly, I knew. I leapt from my desk and dashed for the door; but Cait was too quick for me. She confronted me and pushed me, not very gently, mind you, back into my desk. She pinned me back, my hair flowing over the headrest.

Taren came over, grinning wickedly. She was holding a pair of scissors.

I struggled, kicking and punching. But nothing would penetrate Cait’s tough skin.

Taren started to snip away, cutting jaggedly, at my hair. I closed my eyes. When I could hear Joyce’s voice, I opened my eyes.

“Perfect,” she said. “You look so much better.”

I didn’t count on it.

Now I'm sure that some of you are staring at that jumble of letters and numbers that spell out ARP 2600, but I assure you that it is a real thing. "Dad!" screamed the young girl, who was standing in the middle of the chaos which was going on around her.

Her red dress was torn at the knees and stained with mud. The fighting raged around her, the Yankees firing their muskets at the confederates, and the brave men in the gray coats, fighting with their muskets and knives.

Blood pooled in the streets where I stood fighting a Yank. I was using my musket like a club, swinging at the young solider, who had to be a few years younger than me. I had already landed a few blows to his chest and arms.

He was already suffering from a wound in his side, which was gushing blood, turning the blue uniform a deep shade of purple.

The man hit me in the face, which sent me to the ground.

I looked up from the cobbled ground, seeing the man stand over me with a knife.

"No!" I yelled, throwing my hands up to try to deflect the blow.

the man raised the knife, then stiffened as a musket ball ripped through his chest. He let out a small moan, then toppled to the ground next to me.

"Dad!" shrieked the girl as a Yankee ran towards her. I saw her eyes widen as she saw the man get shot, the bullet ripping through his arm and into his chest, driving into his heart.

I saw the girl rush over to the man, kneeling down next to his head, brushing hair out of the dying mans face.

I saw her lips move, but could hear nothing over the roar of the battle.

I was one of the men from my unit, Gregwell, get a ball through the leg.

I picked myself off the ground and ran towards the little girl, dodging muscat balls left an right.

A man ran at me, and I slashed him in the face with my knife.

I reached the girl and swept her into my arms, crouching low and running as fast as I could.

She was weeping, tears sliding down her dirt stained face.

" Its okay," I said, jumping over a dead body.

I ducked behind an overturned cart, and set her down.

"Stay here!" I said firmly.

The girl whimpered, but nodded her head.

I ran back out into the battle, where bodies littered the street and blood made the ground slippery.

I snatched up another musket, having left mine where I lay, and a fallen generals sword.

I then ran back to the cart, and picked the girl up and ran.

We hid out in a long since burned down building. The young girl, Sarah, was wearing my thick cotton jacket, but was still shivering.

My musket was loaded and ready to fire, and the sword was at my side. The sun had gone down, but I did not make a fire, for fear that the Yanks would see it.

In my scouting, I had found some stale bread, which I had split between Sarah and myself.

Time passed slowly, and the night only got darker.

Sarah finally fell asleep, and I, following her lead, stretched out on the charred floor beside her, and closed my eyes.

I woke to a gentle shake.

Rolling over, I saw Sarah, her golden hair hiding most of her face.

"Are you okay?" she asked, her startling green eyes wide.

Rubbing sleep from my eyes, I nodded, pulling myself up into a sitting position, "Why shouldn't I?"

"You were talking in your sleep," she said, brushing hair out of her face, "Who's Jeffrey?" she asked.

It was true, I had dreams about my family, and my late younger brother, who had died at the age of ten.

He still visited me in my dreams, telling me that he loved me and that my family was doing well.

"He's my brother," I said, standing.

"Where is he?" Sarah asked, standing up and brushing herself off.

"He's dead,"

Sarah looked up, "How did he die?" she asked softly.

I looked up at the sky, seeing the birds up above flapping their wings effortlessly.

"If you don't want to tell me-" Sarah started, but I cut her off.

"A Yankee killed him," I said, grinding my teeth, "We were at the market when the Yanks invaded."

"Men tried to fight back, but they were shot down, and in the confusion, a Yank shot Jeffrey."

"I enlisted the next day"

Sarah bowed her head, "I'm sorry," she said.

"It wasn't you fault," I said, brushing away the tears and the memories that were flooding my head. "Lets get out of here"

help!

If anybody can help on Saturday or Sunday on wizard 101 I need help with the vault of ice.

Brainstorm

Hi everyone!
I'm writing a book called, "The Snobs". It's about this girl who goes to school with her best friend, Amanda, and they have to deal with bully problems. There are three bullies. They are all rich, snobby, and mean. One bully, Joyce, is the head bully. She make nice comments, but doesn't really mean them. The other bully, Taren, has a habit of saying the word, "Like", a lot and she is an expert at spreading mean rumors. The last bully, Cait, is a more physical bully. She prefers breaking glasses, pushing people into mud, kicking, punching, etc.
I need ideas of what mean things the bullies can do to make the story more interesting. The main character, Angela, already got her hair cut by the bullies against her will. Her hair is a mess and it's really short.
Please post a comment on what the bullies can do to make Angela and Amanda upset. I'm out of ideas.

Randomness

Maxim's book club is reading "Junie B. Jones and the Yucky Blucky Fruitcake" which made me think, who thinks fruitcake is blucky? I don't think I've ever had a fruitcake. Is it good?
Also, I got Harry Potter Clue for Christmas, but I already owned it! So, I exchanged it for a Wii game called "Horse Life". It's a really fun game where you design your own horse, groom it, train it, and ride it, and then once you've done a certain amount of training of one thing, (for instance, all the training courses on the novice level of jumping), you can enter it in a competition! If you win, you get money to by you and your horse stuff! It's really fun! Who here likes horses? I do!

Previews

Hi!

What do you think the best part of a movie is? Personally, I think one of the best parts of a lot of movies is the previews. A lot of them are funny, and they usually tell you so much about the movie that it's like watching a film in 15 seconds. You know, sometimes. The rest of the time you have no idea what the movie is about. I saw this preview for a movie called "Hop" and the only thing I could tell you about the movie is that it's about an animated rabbit who likes to play a set of drums.

Pretty amazing storyline, huh? I didn't think so.

I saw another preview, so for those of you who don't know, they're coming out with a Justin Bieber movie! Now I know most of you are probably groaning because you've all heard enough about him, but here you go anyways!

Rainbow Oatmeal and a Sample Photo

Hi.

Here's a little story of my breakfast a couple months ago.

Oatmeal. The gloopy breakfast cereal that doesn't look very appealing in my eyes unless it comes with a pile of whipped cream and a cherry on top. This isn't what I did, but it's something close. I put in some sugar, maple syrup, and some m&ms.

Want to know how it tasted?

It wasn't near as good as I thought it would be. The chocolate just wasn't right. Normally I love chocolate, but not when it's in oatmeal. After about 30 seconds the m&ms started melting and my oatmeal turned from light-brown to rainbow brown.

Who says brown isn't a color of the rainbow?

The people who see them in the sky say so, and believe me the rainbow looks much better without it. And yet another subject turns into a survey.

Hi everyone!
Any horse fans here? Anyone like horses at all? If you do, then you would REALLY like this series!
Thoroughbred is a series about horses. You hear from the main character's point of view and hear their adventures with their horses. They race with them, save them from colic and other dangerous horse diseases, and much more.
The main character switches as they grow up. For the first few books, you hear from Asheigh's point of view. When she grows up, you hear from Samantha's point of view. When she grows up, you hear from Cindy's point of view. I'm on book twenty-nine, (there's more than seventy books!), and I'm listening to Melanie's point of view.
Anyway, this series is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, good!

Stuff, Stuff, and a whole lot of Stuff

Hey Inchers! Guess what? Me an kirsten got the farthest we ever got in the really hard duengon in koritopia! It's called the Tomb of the Beguiler. Exept we didn't finish it for on sad reason.........somthing happend to kirsten's laptop so she had to restart it. So that meant that she got out.:( So if any of you want to help me and kirsten out, tell us and we'll team up somtime.

Anyway, Igot a new jacket to replace the one I lost from Aeropostle. It's blue, but the same:).


One last thing. If you are going to get The Throne of Thornes(witch comes out in May ,however), I sugest you get the Red Pyramid and read through that, first. If you already have TRP, reread it. It's one of Rick's best work yet.

Hi everyone!
As you all know, I took pictures in the Youth Center at the YMCA. I got some funny pictures with the disappearing ink. Anyway, here they are.

Yesterday

Hi.

Yesterday was very important. Why? Because I can't remember the last time we had that many posts in one day. Especially since it was a Friday and I saw most of you for half of the day anyways. It took me half an hour to read through everything that was posted because I totally forgot to check yesterday. Not that it's a bad thing. Quite the opposite, actually. Now you may be asking yourself if there is a point to this post. I'm still not sure if I know the answer to that very question.

I could just sit here typing stuff over and over and over and over and. . . well you get the idea. But that would be very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, boring, don't you think? I'm sure you do. Back to what I was saying.

This wouldn't be a very good blog if all we typed about was typing about typing things. This is precisely what I am doing. This is a blog. We are bloggers. We like to blog things. So I'm going to start blogging about something different than what I have been for the last two paragraphs.

Today I have done nothing in particular except play Scribblenauts and eat cereal. Two of my favorite things in the world. Playing games(of any kind) and eating. Speaking of eating, how many of you like mangoes. Please raise your hand if you do despite the fact that I will probably never see you do it. Okay, just post a comment. Have any of you ever seen a mango pit? Here's one in relation to a quarter.
