Some Stuff I Wanted To Type About

Hi,

I have a small story for you all.

Yesterday I went out for breakfast at the Dutch Way Restaurant. I've been there a few times, and every time I go there it seems to get better. One of the best things about the place is something they have on the menu. An all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet! Buffets are probably one of the greater inventions of mankind, at least that's what I, myself, personally thinks.

Anyways, they have a very grand selection of foods to eat. I had eggs, french toast, a fruit salad, breakfast quiche(delicious), 1 and a half donuts, a bowl of ice cream(they have dessert, too!), and a few potato fries!

Does that sound like a lot?

It was. But it was also very delicious. You may be surprised that they have ice cream there. Or you may not. And you would probably be more surprised if I said that it was a serve-yourself-soft-serve-ice-cream-machine! So, you could potentially have nothing but ice cream for an entire breakfast. Not the most healthy meal in the world, but it most certainly is not the worst. I could name a million other things that are worse for you than a few bowls of ice cream. Of course, I am rather sure that most of you wouldn't want to hear about things so full of sugars and high fructose corn syrups that your body would be wide awake for weeks.

Oops . . . I just had my foot pressed against the chair I'm sitting in and now it's fallen asleep. The pain of a thousand little needles is pulsing through my foot, but I'm sure I'll get over it. Don't you hate it when you do that? I know I do.

I've been up since 8:00 this morning, and so far have gotten absolutely nothing accomplished. I doubt I'm going to get anything done by the end of the day, but that's perfectly okay with me.

I'm studying biology for homeschooling and I'm doing it out of a college level textbook, but it's a lot easier than I thought. Well so far it is. I'm only on chapter one, and there's so much information on a page that by the time you finished it you forget what the first sentence was even about. Sometimes when I'm reading, I'll start thinking about something else, and I will read a paragraph about 6 times and still have no clue what's going on. Whenever I do this I try focusing really hard on the book and I'll overfocus(is that even a thing?), and won't know what's going on anyways. When this happens, I simply stop reading and go do something else.

Alex :)
